Hotel Lucile, Silver Lake’s diving new stay takes a 1931 chapel and flips it into a design-forward sanctuary with stained glass, soaring arches and cocktails in place of communion. The latest from Casetta Hotels, this 25-room boutique beauty is what happens when architecture, art and design align.

From the outside, the property still resembles the original Pilgrim Church, steeple and all. But inside, guests uncover a totally different vibe.

Upstairs, the rooms strike the perfect balance between cozy and curated, featuring cool, design-forward furnishings, spacious and sleek bathrooms.

The arched windows, stained glass and soaring nave are still there, only now, they frame a restaurant and bar where communion comes with cocktails. Rotating works by emerging artists fill the halls, thanks to a partnership with Rhett Baruch Gallery, while a collab with neighborhood institution Skylight Books brings curated readings, author talks and literary events.
