Not all great bar stories start at the bar. In the East Village, HiLot is shaking cocktails in the front and stealing the show in the back.
A 1942 clawfoot tub and pink fixtures feel like they were ripped from your kooky grandma’s house. Owner Jen Shorr swears the goal was to create something that “didn’t make sense” but everyone would remember.
And trust us, you will. Expect a line for the bathroom and at least one couple “getting cozy.” Hint: Joe Jonas is a fan.
